Kimberly Proctor was nicknamed “Baby New Year.” A fitting nickname, as she was born on January 1, 1992, in Vancouver, Canada. She was especially fond of animals, caring for a large collection of animals. Her father said,
“I have more cages in the garage than I know what to do with.”
Kimberly had a difficult childhood, as her classmates bullied her for her cat-like ears, and her ADHD only amplified matters worse. Eventually, Kimberly’s parents decided to transfer their child out to an alternative school, Pacific Secondary, to have friends of her own that too have their struggles. Perhaps, she would ‘fit’ better.
